This cabin was built on a densely wooded site in Sadieville, Ky The concept for this project was to provide a simple, attractive residence that could operate as a weekend home and eventually provide a home for retirement. The residence occupies the site to take advantage of primary views of the lake and with living on three levels. The interior is largely constructed with knotty yellow pine and gives the place a rustic character synonymous with life in the woods. The dwelling has two large fireplaces and three bedrooms all with adjoining bathrooms. The total square footage is approximately 3000 which includes a 26'-0'' floor to ridge open space for the combined living/loft area.
